Turns out 40 km/h feels a lot faster when you’ve got no suspension, no seatbelt, and your life choices are catching up with you. 🤣🏁

🏁 And introducing the newest WESTIE… Oscar! 🏁

Bailey’s mate Oscar has been hanging around the mower racing scene for a while now, helping out on the flags and doing his bit around the track. 🚩👏

But like most people who get too close to mower racing… he caught the bug! 🤣

After a bit of shed time with Bailey, the boys built Oscar his very own mower and got him out on the track.

Well…

One race meet later and apparently the mower isn’t fast enough anymore. 😂

Seems Oscar’s gone from “I’d just like to have a go” to “How much horsepower can we squeeze into this thing?” in record time! 💨🤣

Looks like we’ve created another speed addict. Welcome to the Wild Westies, Oscar! ❤️🏁🍻

Warning: Side effects of mower racing may include empty wallets, late nights in the shed, constant mower upgrades, and an uncontrollable desire to go faster. 🤣🏁

🏁 21/06/2026 - Pinjarra Race Meet 🏁

The Wild Westies were loose in Pinjarra again! 🔥

Mr Westie spent the day doing important presidential business. You know… standing around looking official, talking mower racing and pointing at things. Jokes! It was a super busy day for the man! 👌😂

Meanwhile, the youngest Westie, Bailey Barnett, was living his best life on four wheels, burning fuel and making memories. Pretty sure he only stopped long enough to fuel and water… both himself and the mower! 🤣

Then, when the racing was all done and dusted, Mrs Westie decided she’d have a crack. Climbed on a mower, gave it a whirl and now reckons she might be the next Westie’s racing superstar. Definitely JOKES! 🙃😂

Only one small problem…

She’s still negotiating with the gear thingy.

First gear was getting absolutely screamed at, then came a near-stall, a CLUNK, and somehow we landed in second. 🤣💨

To be fair, changing gears while bouncing around a race track is a bit different to cruising the supermarket car park!

Another ripper day with great people, good laughs!! ❤️🏁💨

🌟 28/06/2025 – Second Night Meet Western Australian Mower Racing Association - WAMRA

The boys lit up the night — literally, with New LED lights on the Westies!

Another awesome night of racing under the stars, buzzing with spectators and the trusty food van dishing out the goods.

Fast laps, bright lights, and good vibes all round🏁✨

🌙 07/06/2025 – First Night Western Australian Mower Racing Association - WAMRA

Our first night meet at Pinjarra… and what a ripper!
Loads of new spectators, Lions food van in full swing — burgers, snag rolls, and icy drinks in hand.

Wild rides on the track, plenty of laughs off it.

A night full of fun, throttle, and memories made. 👌🏼

01/06/2025 🏁 Westies First Beverley Race Meet!

What a day out Tractor Pulling and Lawn Mower Racing in WA Beverley

Bailey’s mower #31 broke down… but so did Woz’s — so Bailey jumped on Woz’s ride and still made it to the line! 💪🏼

A full day of mower racing, big machines, and the epic tractor pulls that shook the paddock.

Great racing. Great people.
We’ll 100% be back! 👊🏼
