NVG- Ringerike is a garrison of the New Varangian Guard.
Based in Armidale, NSW, Ringerike reenacts a group of 11th century Norwegians who followed Harald Hadrada to Constantinople following the defeat of King Olaf at the battle of Stiklestad.

Recovering from the 2026 Abbey Medieval Festival. Four of our members attended the festival in Caboolture this year and all had a tremendously good time. A big thank you to Lith for getting two of us in and Nemas for housing another two. It was an honour to lead one of the teams in Jorth Gar’s finale show
