• Second half: Ridden work - translating that confidence into the saddle

Pete’s Tip 🤠
2 things I like to check before I ride:

1️⃣ Lateral flexion - is my mare soft and responding?
2️⃣ Vertical flexion - is she giving and responding to the rein?

Once I feel that softness and response, we’re ready to ride.
