You’re sitting in your car. It’s a little after 9 pm. Your mind is quiet, your skin feels fresh, your body feels relaxed, and for the first time in months, you feel a deep sense of clarity about where you are heading.
No rush, no heavy mental load. Just a peaceful, solid connection back to yourself.
If that feels like exactly what your nervous system is craving right now, this is your warm invitation to join me for my special edition Spring event - Space to breathe.
A cozy 2.5 hour evening together to help you unwind, unpack your thoughts and give yourself space and time to connect within. Time to make sure YOU and your goals are seen!
Spring is beautiful, but it often brings that familiar end of year rush. The diary fills up with plans, the pressure builds and suddenly your own goals and needs get pushed right to the bottom of the pile.
Step into this season with an evening for you!
Face masks, supper, soul mapping, intuitive goal setting, DIY oil rollers, restorative yoga and sound healing...
An evening where you have Space To Breathe!
And i’d love to hold this space for you.
Tickets and more details are on the website.

The hardest part of waking up to the feeling of burnout is realising you don’t even have the capacity to change it.
When you are already running on empty, a list of “burnout solutions” just feels like another demand on your non existent time.
So, instead of stripping it all back today…
Can you look at your week ahead. Is there anything on your plate that you actually have the emotional, physical, or mental space to consider doing?
Maybe it’s not a big lifestyle shift.
Maybe it’s just the courage to ask yourself one question: “What if it doesn’t have to be like this?”
That single question is where the cracking stops and the rebuilding begins.
You don’t have to fix everything today. You just have to allow yourself to wonder if a different version of your life is permitted to exist.
Let me know if you’re just holding space for that question this week!

When your Soul Star Chakra is blocked, you might feel untethered, adrift and cut off from your higher guidance.
Perhaps homesick for a place you cannot name.
It’s not that the wisdom isn’t trying to reach you, but it is trapped behind a wall of chatter and ego.
The body’s natural defense mechanism is to numb your emotions and feelings to keep you safe.),
You aren’t broken. We just need to move your nervous system out of “numbing” mode and drop you back into a space of deep spiritual safety, where you finally feel safe enough to drop your guard and get curious again.
Swipe through the slides to see how you can start tuning your signal this week.
If you feel like you need some support here - trust that nudge.
I’d love to hold this space with you!
Bookings can be made from my website 🤍

Yoga in August Jen Moore
This is our final month of our winter yoga classes and I’m feeling a little nostalgic already. I’m going to miss the darkness at 6 pm 🫣🥰
It will soon be time to pop our little astronaut friend Geoff away! IYKYK
What a soft and cozy space it has been for so many this season! Thank you 🙏🏽
Feeling so grateful for all the souls who have trusted me (and trusted themself) to try something different and slightly out of their comfort zone. It takes courage to surrender and let the bolster completely hold your weight.
And what a feeling when you do ✨
If you have any questions about any of the classes please reach out and send me a dm ✉️

My own thoughts take me by surprise sometimes!
As I was running along Bar Beach in stunning Newcastle this afternoon, I knew that my future self needed this run.
And that thought alone got me thinking!
Maybe it’s not just self-compassion we’re lacking in society.
Maybe what we really need is more accountability.
Hear me out 🫣
I work in Holistic wellness, I am a massive advocate for softness, rest, and unconditional self-love. I will always hold space for you (and myself) to slow down.
We need it!
But I do wonder, have we taken the quest for gentleness so far that we’ve become a bit spineless?
There is a fine line between giving yourself grace and using “self-compassion” to avoid doing the hard work.
When does too much softness or feeling sorry for ourselves actually start holding us back?
Self compassion should support us, give us that emotional foundation to be honest with ourselves, and push us to take responsibility.
Kindness and accountability can (and must) coexist.
Maybe it’s starting with the belief that you are fully capable of being gentle with yourself while still holding your ground (and your hand) through the process!
This isn’t just about forcing yourself into a 6 km run or rigid discipline. It is about recognising those exact moments of discomfort and choosing to stay accountable. Not 100% of the time. But 80% perhaps?
For me, it’s those places of discomfort where it is easy to negotiate myself out of the very things that would actually benefit me!
I’d love to know your thoughts on this!

Who was the bright spark that decided that self regulation had to be from a chronic state of depletion?
In fact looking back, a part of me believed my whole business model required burnout to even function.
That being busy, maxed out, and operating at total capacity was just what it took to be survive this crazy world of self employment.
And for the first couple of years I didn’t even question the grind. I genuinely didn’t think I had a choice.
Capping my days? Setting firm boundaries? God forbid, taking a *regular* full day off just to recoup?
It wasn’t even on my radar.
What do you mean that to have a sustainable business you must protect the nervous system behind it??
Thankfully, it did dawn on me that I had a choice!
That it’s not sustainable to support other peoples nervous system (or my own) from a state of chronic depletion.
For the past couple of months, I’ve been bravely going against the grain. I say bravely, because honestly, It has been really tough at times.
“Do I really deserve this break?”
“I need to be on top of absolutely everything.”
Unlearning the hustle mentality is uncomfortable work.
But on the other side of that discomfort, my whole energy has shifted. What I know for certain now is that when I give myself permission to go slow, that grounded energy ripples. Through my body to yours, and from work to home.
It has changed how I show up, how I teach, and how I hold space for my clients long before I even say a word.
Where have you forgotten that you have choice??
Perhaps this is the week where you start to take your power back 🤍💪🏽
Now go and be brave!

These aren’t homework, assignments or another item on your to do list.
And you aren’t failing if you don’t do them.
These are more like a self care menu. Simple, low pressure tools for when life feels loud and don’t want to repeat old patterns to numb it out.
A gentle nudge back to centre.
Swipe through for a few ‘prescriptions’ that popped up in this week’s reports.
Feel free to save this post so you can come back to them when you need.
Is there one that your body is asking for this week?

Nervous system talk is everywhere!
That and protein.
But this isn’t just a trend. It’s the science of your body’s operating systems.
It’s your brains control tower, (sorry, it’s the old flight attendant coming out) that directs all ‘traffic’ (signals) coming in and out so nothing crashes.
It tells your eyes to blink, your mouth to smile and your brain to learn new things.
Yin yoga is basically the night shift or the quiet skies for your body!
We spend a lot of time in day shift… the tower is frantic. Radio buzzing, loud alerts and too many planes (input) trying to land at once!
This is where yin yoga comes in and clears the runways!
We switch on DND ☮️
The planes can circle slowly, land and turn off their engines.
Each pose turns down the static.
Our body stats to recognise safety. No emergencies.
We enter the maintenance window!
The result… the control tower in the brain feels organised once again.
The screens are clear, the noise is quiet and you’re ready to gently rise again.
I’d love to have you join me and reduce those system overload feels!
