OFR - SONIC Performance Racing

The first round of the new season is nearly here, and we're pumped! 🏁

Sonic has some new shoes, and after developing a rather strange sideways wobble at the top end, we’ve done what we can to get him sorted. New upper control arms, coilovers and a wheel alignment thanks to Corey so hopefully he’ll be heading straight down the track! 😅

And in even bigger news, we’ve acquired a new driver for the 2026/27 season…
Hopefully he’s not as mouthy as the last one! 😂

So it’s off-season. We’ve designed a fresh new team logo, general maintenance is underway and a few exciting upgrades are coming. For now, he’s having a well-earned rest while Mick turns his attention to another big project — Sonic’s new home. The shed build is underway, and Mick is finally getting his much-needed hoist. He’s doing it all himself too, because there really isn’t much my man can’t do. We’re excited for next season, kicking off in Alice Springs for Round 1 of the ANDRA series. Sonic’s resting for now, but next season’s already calling.

Awesome day at the Dragway at The Bend for Andra Grand Final. Weather was mint and car was on point. Ran a best off 8.86 with a 0.010 reaction. Made it to second elimination against Nuz who beat us by 0.0003 🤦. Would like to thank Laurie O'Connell (Daddo) for driving the tow car all season and helping out immensely with his lifetime of knowledge.
