Murray Bridge, South Australia — A bold new chapter for grassroots motorsport has officially begun, with the launch of a Volunteer Rewards Program at Murray Bridge Speedway — a major initiative designed to rebuild culture, strengthen community, and secure the future of speedway.

For the first time, MBSCC and MTG have aligned as one, delivering a structured and meaningful program that recognises the people who keep the sport alive.

“Without volunteers, there is no speedway.”

This is more than a program — it’s a shift in mindset.

A NEW ERA FOR CLUB CULTURE The Volunteer Rewards Program is built on a simple but powerful principle: Value the people who give their time.

This initiative is designed to: Rebuild a strong sense of belonging within the club Recognise commitment in a meaningful, tangible way Attract and retain new volunteers Restore the culture that once defined speedway communities

Free partner entry on race nights worked

2026 Promotions day

It is unfortunate that we have to advise that our planned promotions day this Sunday the 19th of April, will not be going ahead.

With the cancellation of Saturday nights race meeting, preparation of the racetrack for Sunday’s event will not be feasible from a club point of view without moving costs onto the participating teams.
We apologise to those who were looking forward to this weekend.

We thank everyone who has been involved and assisted on a club level throughout the season again.
We will now turn our attention to the off season, with working bees and our presentation night, which will be on Saturday, June 20th.
