Australian Pearls Announce 2026 VIRTUS/VIBF 3x3 World Cup Squad

As preparations for the 2026 VIRTUS / VIBF 3x3 World Basketball Cup gather momentum, the Australian Pearls are proud to announce the sixteen athletes selected for this year’s national squad.

These outstanding women will begin their World Cup campaign with a three day Selection Camp at the AIS in July/August. The World Cup will be held in Bangkok, Thailand this November, and with many nations supporting the bid for inclusion in the 2032 Paralympics, we are expecting strong international participation and an exciting level of competition.

Head Coach Larry Davidson led two regional development camps in April and May, sharpening the squad’s 3x3 skills and preparing athletes for the intensity of international play. The upcoming Selection Camp will be crucial, as the squad is narrowed to two teams of five athletes each who will represent Australia on the world stage.
Coach Davidson reminds all athletes that the next few years will offer extraordinary opportunities — encouraging them to “keep setting goals, training hard and playing basketball”.
