The week that ended our first 18 months in Wadeye :
🚧 roadworks in our street - the big pot hole at the end of the street that’s a deep puddle in the wet and a dust bowl in the dry is being fixed … properly

Farewell Darwin 👋🏼 Hello Wadeye 👋🏼

I’ve flown this route about 10 times in the last 16 months and it never ceases to fill me with awe and wonder.

We’ve had a whirlwind weekend to surprise Tim’s mum for her 80th birthday (and Mother’s Day).

We packed in a lot in the couple of days we were there - including the mall, markets, our old street, watching a bike race, running in the Mothers Day Classic, catching up with friends and of course lots of food and coffee ☕️

The cold was refreshing and the weekend was hectic, now it’s back to Wadeye for the rest of the term.

We posted a reel the other day about getting the troopy bogged. We were asked how we got it out … well, here we go. This is how we got it bogged and how we got it out. As well as some other shots of beautiful Country and beaches around here.
