Finished Los Angeles Olympic Class Regatta on a strong 8th place 💪🏼🔥 Excited to go straight into some more racing at the „Oakcliff Triple Crown 👑“ Regatta upcoming weekend!

Europeans summary:

After a week of tough and mixed conditions we finished in 8th place at the Nacra 17 Europeans in Eckernförde, Germany (11th int. ranking).
It’s a good result, but we know that we can do better. Next stop we’ll be heading to Los Angeles soon to train and race on the waters, improve our speed and gain valuable experience for the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games games 💪🏼

Mixed feelings as we wrap up the week. Finishing 9th in the world is something to be proud of, but we know there’s still more in us. Every race brought lessons, and we’re leaving with plenty of takeaways to fuel our next steps.

The regatta begins with two days of qualifying before moving into finals. The medal series will feature one umpired Gold Fleet race, then a final showdown between the top four — whoever wins that race wins the championship.

We’ve trained hard, now it’s time to show what we can do. 💪🏼

Nach einer durchwachsenen Wm, bei der wir nicht in der Lage waren unsere Leistung auf den Punkt zubringen haben wir die Qualifikation für die Olympischen Spiele diesen Sommer verpasst. Es ist sehr enttäuschend und hart aber wir versuchen das Beste aus der Situation mitzunehmen und richten unseren Blick nach vorne.
