Vamos Argentina!
Si se puede!
A Texan in Argentina, a traveler sharing her adventures and mishaps, a picture taking wine drinker and a yoga teacher! I hope you enjoy!
A Texan transplanted in Argentina, I've spent nearly a decade living abroad from Europe to the Caribbean, but mostly here in Buenos Aires. I'm a yoga teacher, a traveler, and a wine drinker that likes to take pictures.

What a night.
Mirando el partido en El Cuartito "La Buena Pizza" es algo que nunca me voy a olvidar.

Argentina, a land full of contrasts.
Big cities, from the jungle of Misiones to the glaciers of Patagonia, vicuñas in Jujuy to penguins in Tierra Del Fuego.
I love exploring it and still feel like I’ve only scratched the surface.
🎶 Sound on for nostalgia pura.
Tell me, did you know what this whistle was for before he called out AFILADORRRR?
If not, then pay attention when you walk the streets of Buenos Aires. It’s a museum of unique sites and sounds.
This is a knife or blade sharpener. If you hear that whistle or call, then run downstairs (CAREFULLY) with your knives or scissors or what have you. 🔪

Pig Latin’s got nothing on Vesre.
Did you know that Argentines often speak in reverse?
Vesre is slang within slang, and if you want to speak like a local in Argentina, it’s in your interest to memorize a few classic vesre words.
Did you know about this?

“Hay un tiempo cumplo” es el nuevo “GOOOOOL” and you can’t tell me otherwise.
I grew up at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and at our country fair, so now taking my kids to see Argentina’s Jineteada is full circle.
This was at Duggan’s Fiesta Patronal —> si ves esto y lo reconoces al jinete o conoces el locutor, taguealos!
