There’s no secret to unlocking the planche or any calisthenics skill. Anyone telling you there is, is lying.
The same information is available to everyone. What actually makes the difference is how that information is applied to your specific situation, your current level, your weak points, your movement patterns.
That’s why the biggest factor in how fast my clients progress isn’t just the plan. It’s the video feedback I send them every week, watching their actual attempts, identifying exactly what’s going wrong, and showing them the fix on camera.
Real coaching applied to a real person. That’s it.

No chance.
Dm me “COACH” for 1 on 1 calisthenics coaching
Most people training planche and front lever skip this entirely and it’s exactly why injuries pile up.
Mobility work before any straight arm session isn’t optional. Your wrists are being loaded in a stretched position they’re not used to. Your shoulders need ranges of motion most people haven’t specifically trained into yet.
And stop training static holds to failure. For tendon-dependent skills, grinding to failure doesn’t speed up progress, it just increases injury risk. Connective tissue adapts on its own timeline, not yours.
Train smart before you train hard.

If your front lever has been stuck at the same position for months, you’re not weak. You’re training the wrong thing.
Most people do more pull-ups, more attempts, more volume. More wasted energy. And stay stuck at the same tuck for a year.
The front lever is a straight arm skill. The muscles doing the work are completely different from anything you train in a normal pulling session. Until you train straight arm scapular depression specifically, nothing changes.
Comment “FRONT” and I’ll send you the full progression.
