Empowering busy women to build strength for life’s challenges and changes
TOP TIP 4 accidentally running further 😜
No Garmin. No planned mileage. Just picking a direction and seeing where you end up.
And somehow the “quick 5km” always turns into a little more when there’s something worth exploring.
Instead of: “I hope my back doesn’t look too muscular.”
Shift the focus to: “I want my back to be strong enough to carry my life.”
A strong back can:
➡️ Carry your groceries 🛍️
➡️ Move house 📦
➡️ Lift your bubba 👶
➡️ Carry your grandkids 👵
➡️ Haul your suitcase ✈️
➡️ Move your heavy furniture 🛋️
➡️ Carry your bags 💼
➡️ Pick things up with confidence 💪😉

Failure feels different when it’s familiar.
In the gym, failure has become normal for me.
Failing a new skill, falling out of a handstand, or not hitting a PB doesn’t stop me, it teaches me. I know it’s part of the process, so I keep trying.
But I’ve realised I don’t always give myself that same grace outside the gym.
When I’m trying something new, where there’s no routine or certainty, failure suddenly feels much harder.
I’m learning to approach life the same way I approach training: take more risks, embrace failure, and trust that every setback is moving me forward, not holding me back.
Can you relate? Is there an area of your life where you find it harder to take risks than others?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Training should add to your life, not take away from it.
I used to think I had to be either “all in” all the time!
Now I’ve found the balance.
A workout while travelling isn’t about burning off food or staying “on track” perfectly, it’s about moving your body, feeling good, and keeping a habit that supports you.
Some days it’s a full session.
Some days it’s a walk, mobility, or just enjoying being active in a new place.
Progress doesn’t come from being perfect for a week.
It comes from the small choices you make consistently over time.
Enjoy the holiday. Eat the food. Make the memories.
And if movement makes you feel good, keep it part of your life, even on holiday 🙌🏼
Can’t help myself 💪🤣
