What an amazing time I’ve had working at the club for the past 2 years and 8 months. I count myself very lucky to have called this my job.

Been great to work with so many amazing players from nursery through to our u18s side, seeing so many of them grow as players and people over my time has been class to see. To you all, keep working hard and enjoy the journey.

A huge thank you to everyone that gives up their time to volunteer in and around the club on and off the pitch. You truly do make a huge difference to so many young people’s lives, they don’t realise how lucky they are!

Thank you to those who gave me the opportunity and continued to support me during my time at the club, I can’t thank you enough! I can see how much I’ve came on over my time in the role and excited to take that into whatever comes my way next!

After 2 years with the Minis, Matt flew off today on the start of his adventure to Australia and New Zealand.

Matt has had a huge influence on the Minis during his time with us. Engaging with the kids at training and festivals, during school coaching sessions and through our rugby camps. He introduced Brunch Club last year which was a huge success and with his work with the Schools has also attracted new children to our Club.

His passion and knowledge for rugby is clearly evident and he’s popular with the kids, getting them involved and enthused about the game we love.

Thank you Matt for everything you have done, we all hope you have a great adventure over the next few months and you will always be welcome with the Minis when you return.

After leaving school following 5th year to pursue the dream of professional rugby, I didn’t think it would have led me here.

Really happy to have finished my MSc in Sport Psychology submitting my dissertation today after finishing the first 2 semesters on 65%. This degree adds onto my BSc Hons in Sport, Fitness and Coaching.

Not been easy to manage alongside working full time but being able to put academic learnings onto the pitch every week has been great. Excited to have finished my ‘formal’ education for now and ready to put more learnings into practice.

Not bad for a kid that’s easily distracted!

Another milestone hit being back playing a game of 15s yesterday, the challenge this week was the increase in contact levels that comes with 15 a side!

Good to get some more minutes and come out the other end of some bigger collisions
