Through the Years ❤️

The off-season has always been our time to pause, reflect, and prepare for what’s next.

Today, we found ourselves looking back at where it all began. We both stepped onto a track for the very first time at just 5 years old. Fast forward to today, and that’s 10 years for one of us and 7 years for the other. It’s incredible how quickly time passes.

The medals, the personal bests, and the competitions have been special, but they’ve never been the best part of this journey.

The best part has been doing it together.

For the past seven years, we’ve shared the same lanes, the same dreams, and so many unforgettable moments. We’ve celebrated each other’s victories as if they were our own, picked each other up after disappointments, and reminded one another why we started whenever things got tough.

We’ve been blessed to learn from amazing coaches, meet incredible athletes we’ve looked up to, travel to places we never imagined, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Every season has shaped us in ways that go far beyond the stopwatch.

Looking back, we realise this journey has rewarded us far more than it has ever demanded of us. It has taught us resilience, patience, discipline, gratitude, and the value of always having someone beside you who truly understands the journey.

We’re grateful for every chapter that’s brought us to this point.

And as one season ends, another chapter quietly begins.

There are still dreams to chase, finish lines to cross, lessons to learn, and memories to make. Whatever lies ahead, we’ll face it the same way we’ve always done, side by side.

Season done and dusted.

Not the season we had envisioned, and definitely one of the toughest yet. The challenges went far beyond the track, with ongoing geopolitical issues disrupting training, competitions, and the momentum we worked so hard to build.

While the results weren’t always what we hoped for, this season taught us lessons in resilience, patience, and perseverance. Sometimes growth isn’t measured by medals or PBs, but by how you keep showing up when things don’t go according to plan.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to compete, every lesson learned, and everyone who supported us along the way.

Now it’s time to reset, regroup, and get back to work. Here’s hoping we return stronger, fitter, and ready to chase new goals next season.

Onwards and upwards. The journey continues. Faith over Fear.

We had the privilege of spending time with Barbados sprint star and Enhanced Games 100m Champion, Tristan Evelyn.

Beyond the speed and success on the track, what made the experience truly special was the opportunity to hear about the journey behind the performances. We spoke about the realities of being an athlete, the highs, the lows, the setbacks, the sacrifices, and the resilience required to keep moving forward when things don’t go according to plan.

It’s always inspiring to learn from someone who has experienced both triumph and adversity and emerged stronger because of it. The lessons shared went far beyond sprinting and served as a reminder that success is built through perseverance, patience, and an unwavering belief in the process.

This past weekend was a pretty special one for us. ❤️

For the first time, we had the opportunity to compete in the same race together. Standing on the start line side by side was such a cool experience and definitely a glimpse of what we hope there is more of in the future.

We may be chasing our own goals on the track, but we're always cheering each other on every step of the way. Having your sister beside you makes the journey that little bit more special.

A great memory, a fun experience, and hopefully just the beginning of many more races together.

From the dance floor to the starting blocks in less than 24 hours. One day serving glamour, the next chasing PBs.

An eventful weekend, but one that was thoroughly enjoyed. Creating memories, embracing opportunities, and proving that you can be both graceful and fierce.

Life is all about balance, and we like to keep things interesting!

We’ve shared so many incredible memories on the track, from Ultimate Race Nights to our adventures in Gothenburg. Every race alongside you has been a privilege and every moment a memory I’ll cherish.

You came, you saw, and you conquered. Not only did you set the standard, but you inspired everyone around you to raise their own. The track community is better because of the impact you’ve had, and I’m certainly a better athlete for having had the opportunity to compete alongside you.

Race Nights won’t feel the same without your smile, your determination, and the energy you brought to every competition. Your presence will be missed more than you know.

As sad as we are to see you leave, we’re equally excited for everything that lies ahead. We’ll be cheering for you from afar, following your journey and celebrating every success that comes your way.

And God willing, one day our paths will cross again on the track, perhaps on the biggest stage of all, where we’ll make even greater memories together.
